We are delighted to share with you a Hackathon established and sponsored by NYSERDA – RTEM with substantial cash awards. The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) Real-time Energy Management (RTEM) Program is providing a database of roughly 200 commercial and multi-family buildings that has been normalized into a common model using a semantic tagging schema consistent with Project Haystack.
They are seeking “Use Case Proposals” that positively impact or accelerate the electrification and decarbonization of commercial and multi-family building. There will be three awards issued. The first three place finishers will receive an award of $35,000, $15,000, and $5,000 USD, respectively. Criteria for the awards are included on RTEM’s website included below.
Please be aware of key dates. Registration deadline is 4/15/22. An API will be provided, and you will have data access no later than 4/22/22. Submissions are due no later than 5/30/22. Additional information, including registration information, can be found at the following site: RTEM Hackathon website
We look forward to see who's going to get bragging rights (and lots of $$$$).
