I have forgotten my password for the man site.

I have used the reset password function with the following results; I include my email address for the system to send a reset link, it is accepted and \i receive the link in an email a short time later. I use the link to access the site and the system logs me in, and all is well until the screen asks me for the old password (that I have forgotten ??) I enter a new password and confirm. when I hit execute the system responds with invalid password (old I presume).

At this point I am logged in and can access the rest of the site. When I log out and then try to login again, I am unable, unless I ask for a password reset function and repeat the entire process endlessly.

Could someone please check this process and eliminate the problem or explain to me my error.

Its just a bug - some cookie gets left around. If you clear your cache or log in via incognito mode you will see your new password is set. Or you can email me and I will manually reset it

Brian, sorry to bother you but my password issue has returned.

Today, I tested the password reset function as follows: I requested password reset, a minute or so latter I received the email with the link to Project Haystack, I connected and entered new password with verification, I then got the confirmation that password was changed. Instead of logging out immediately and went to settings and change password. When I tried to change password this time it would not accept my "old Password" even though I had just entered it and of course the new password (2nd one) was not accepted. Message was "Old Password Invalid". I do not believe anything on my system is involved with the above sequence

To login now I must request password reset and then not logout for the day, else repeat the above process.
