We're looking to create an application framework and built-in applications centered around VOLTTRON (data historian and analytical applications), Haystack, Grafana (dashboards), and a time series database (currently Crate) We're automating a lot of things like creating Grafana dashboards, tagging data points, etc.
I hope you'll like what we're doing with Haystack: It is used as both a data exchange mechanism, so a server and a client are built in, and a data-mapping mechanism for writing business logic as services.
I will be putting out more information about it, but meanwhile please check out the code and let us know if you have any questions.
