A discussion also needs to held relating to packaged AHU's and areas of responsibility and integration with the wider control system strategy. There seems to be a general misconception that Open Protocol communications enable the easy integration of control systems with packaged AHU controls, particularly on larger projects where remote control devices need to be integrated.

I did not think that Haystack had anything to do with contractual responsibilities, it’s an asset list. A packaged AHU must have the same identifies as any other AHU it is not different. The possible only difference is that the control system is supplied by a different party to the building wide BMS specialists, But that’s it.
