We are looking to use the nHaystack module as a way to extract Histories out of the JACE/Server and into our analytics server. I have a few questions regarding the correct setup of the nHaystack module to allow this:
Is it as simple as dragging the nHaystack service into the services of the Station then enabling the servlet? does anything else need to be added/enabled?
How should the user be setup? Ive been told we need to use HTTPBasic authentication, is this correct? Also should the user be a network user or have a role assigned?
What ports need to be enabled (i.e. does http port need to be opened or closed, likewise with https port?)
Apologies for all the basic questions, trying to wrap my head around what needs to be setup. Any help is greatly appreciated.
