To announce the launch of StackHub licensing! - a feature that transforms StackHub into the most exciting marketplace for the Haystack community!
For those not familiar with StackHub, it is a website that enables you, and the Haystack community, to host and distribute software packages. Hosted packages may be AX modules, Fantom pods, or any kind of content including graphics, script files, and system extensions!
With the exciting new licensing feature, StackHub is also an E-Commerce website where you and your organization can become a StackHub Vendor; selling package licenses from branded and customised product pages.
StackHub offers a suite of package licensing options to suit various business models:
Organization specific - limit package use to a specified organization
Installation specific - limit package use to a specified SkyArc installation
Expiry dates - limit package use to a specified time period
Or why not create your own volume licensing option instead?
With point counting capacity licenses you can measure your own custom metrics; such as number of imported data values, number of server hours, number of Axon function invocations... and so on.
StackHub licensing uses industry standard public and private keys encryption making it a secure and trusted way to distribute licenses, avoiding unwanted counterfeits.
StackHub's payment partner is Stripe who makes it easy to set up vendor accounts and enables a quick and efficient customer sales process.
By offering a means to distribute both commercial and open-source projects, StackHub hopes to create a vibrant repository and marketplace for all things Project Haystack!
