#461 Announcing Haystack Connections Magazine January 2017 - Issue #2

John Petze Mon 2 Jan 2017

Project-Haystack.org is excited to announce the publication of the second issue of Haystack Connections magazine. Haystack Connections reports the news from the Haystack community around the world and provides updates on the development of tagging models, reference implementations, complimentary applications, and success stories from the community as we work together to make device data easier to use across applications of all types.

This issue demonstrates the growth of the community with articles from members around the world, and the open, vendor-independent nature of the effort as contributions come from community members working with all different brands of equipment systems and applications. This issue also broadens the conversation with articles focusing on the benefits of Haystack tagging for end users and building owners, addressing the question "Why End Users Should Demand Project Haystack" in their intelligent building and automation projects. We think that the stories demonstrate that Project-Haystack has become the most widely accepted markup language for device data to serve the buildings industry.

This issue also includes a special focus on Haystack Connect 2017, the highly successful, biennial conference produced by Project-Haystack.org, which will be held May 8-10, 2017 at Saddlebrook Resort near Tampa, FL.
