I'm very new to Haystack but I can't see how to assess when a tag has been depreciated. I remember reading in a forum posting that kw had been depreciated in favour of power, but I can't see where this is documented. I had the same question regarding elecMeter, which seems to have been replaced by the simultaneous use of both elec and meter. Where might I find such information?
Thanks in advance,
Matthew Walker

I'm not sure if there is a central location showing what has been deprecated and when.
But, the tags you mentioned are all discussed here

The history of the various changes can be found in /doc/ChangeLog which has references to some of the topics where the discussion/proposal took place.
In Colorada we decided that future breaking changes would be handled by annotating tags with as deprecated tag and alias to the replacement.

Wow, I don't know how I missed that. Has that always been there?! My bad, I guess I should RTFM.
Your link gives me a 404. But it didn't take long to find ChangeLog
Thanks for the heads up.
