The proposed change in energy metering tags brought up a question: How will we know in the future what sets of tags were in common use when a project was implemented? Ten years from now I wouldn't want the question to come up as to whether "elec meter" or "elecMeter" was appropriate on a past project. It makes me think that we need to discuss some process of versioning to track the vintage of jobs. Maybe it should be in the form of a haystackVersion tag or something similar. I know there a contributors here that have more experience with version control and I wanted to put this out for discussion.

I think this is a good idea. Maybe we could have a public mercurial repository for this?
