#529 nHaystack tz tag

Elias Brewer Thu 31 Aug 2017

I am connecting to a AX Supervisor running nHaystack 1.2.5.12. None of the points I'm acccessing have haystack tags on the jace, but they do have histories set up. The jace itself and the histories on the points are set up as US Eastern and we have a time zone alias to convert that to New York.

The problem is that the histories are coming through haystack with a UTC tz tag. If I add the haystack tag to the point it automatically adds the tz as UTC. I can then add the tz tag set to New York, and it will come through haystack as New York.

Where does nHasystack get the tz for a point? I found a forum post here saying it comes from the tz set on the history, but it seems something is overriding that tag or preventing it from being read.

Hi Elias,

Have you tried the latest nhaystack for Niagara AX? I did a release a little while ago, although there was nothing specifically related to the tz tag that I can recall.

Can you try with the latest version and let me know if that solves your problem?

Richard
